Fashion Biography
Laura Schara studies and translates emerging fashion trends for Macy’s North. With her expertise, Laura assists in executing all fashion related events including fashion shows, personal appearances and broadcast media segments.
She also contributes to the creation of the spectacular annual fashion charity event, Glamorama. While working closely with featured designers such as Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Dolce and Gabbana, she also manages relationships with new and upcoming designers such as Tuleh, Blumarine and Temperley London. She oversees the designer’s vision as it is replicated down the runway.
Laura has been featured in Life & Style Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Associated Press, People Magazine, AOL.Com, Chicago Sun Times, Chicago Tribune, Detroit Free Press, Minneapolis Star Tribune and Saint Paul Pioneer Press, and has appeared on TLC’s Extreme Proposals, Style network’s Dress My Nest, as well as ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX affiliates throughout regional markets, including Minneapolis, Chicago and Detroit. She has worked with celebrity stylists such as Jennifer Rade, Rachel Zoe, Clinton Kelly, Robert Verdi, Lloyd Boston and Stacy London and emcees Macy’s Fashion Seminars.
Laura holds a BS in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and is a member of Fashion Group International.
